Two web-developers, just graduated, with a good 3 year of experience in hard-core freelancing and white collar office job, accidentally got the same idea about how things should change. Both for developers and clients. The idea was to build friendship, honesty, and trust. This how our first small office appeared, a place with more ambitions than the air could keep
There were three of us now. We were widening our technology stack as much as possible, taking any project we can, and getting in touch with any people who might need us. We didn’t want to rest, so we didn’t. Heads were up high for three mighty developers becoming coffee addicts. That was still a time of more hopes than planning. But that is how the dream is being born.
Getting more jobs lead to reaching to more people of our kind. We were starting getting bigger. We got several local brands to work with us instead of big industry players. All this brought us to new office, first IoT and mobile development projects. First challenging deadlines, f*ck ups, night client calls, but also common chill outs. Now we had our own rest zone, team merch and business cards (at last)!
We’ve moved again. Bigger, lighter, higher open-space office. This is the time we’ve started seeing things clearer. Now we wanted to cover the process of creating solutions end-to-end. This allowed us to narrow down the technologies stack and collect the parts we were missing: high-graded designers, project managers (phew, we’ve got some happy hours!), and quality assistant engineer.
The whole team put sooo much effort into the job, that CEOs had to take an urgent flight to Scandinavian countries for personal meetings with clients. Which brought our cooperation on a totally new level. An iOS developer joined our mobile dev department. We've launched several successful IoT projects together with our clients. They can now be found successfully growing in different parts of Eastern Europe.
This year was special, because of the expertise we were able to grow. Revenue grew twice comparing to the previous year. Our community became bigger with new clients joining in, and we've planned out massive things with them for the next years. Part of our team visited Portugal and met with potential clients for upcoming projects. And had a nice museum tour through Europe! We celebrated our 5 years journey the way we've never done it before! We've put out more merch, we've eaten the tastiest pie and made the funniest creative performance with our team. P.S. These guys won't go anywhere now, we have too many photos from this birthday party :)
Nevertheless, the pandemic situation forced us to work from home, we didn't lose a single working hour and quickly reorganized the team to work remotely. This is a small victory of every team member and a good metric of our managing workflows. Which supports belief in ourselves in these crazy times of global changes.
